Ik hoop  veel vrienden te ontmoeten  op de 60e Internationale fotobeurs  in Bièvres  (  1 & 2 juni 2024 ).

 

J'espère rencontrer de nombreux amis au 60ème Salon International de la Photo à Bièvres (1 et 2 juin 2024).

FESTIVAL MALICOT - CONTEMPORARY DAGUERREOTYPES

Het was een fijne lezing over hedendaagse daguerrotypiën op het Festival Malicot.

 

C'était une belle conférence sur les daguerrotypes contemporains au Festival Malicot.

 

It was a nice lecture on contemporary daguerrotypes at the Malicot Festival.

Fizeau in Amsterdam (feb 2024)

Hyppolyte Fizeau (1819-1896) attempted to obtain multiple copies of a daguerreotype by treating it with acid and then inking it. He then made several prints using an etching press. Some of Fizeau's original works can be viewed in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
